I've just heard a news bulletin announcing the death, due to cardiac arrest, of actor Christopher Reeve. He was a most courageous man and an inspiration to many.
Follow Ups:
Yes, it is a sad day indeed; there is no joy in Smallville. :o(Without any encouragement from Michael Moore, I suspect that the White House barber will be busy revealing the President's latest sarcastic cut.
Today, as when I first heard the news about his accident, I immediately think of his role in "Remains of the Day" - He made such a good representation of an American. As he did in life, as well, showing such courage and determination.
In Vino Veritas
He make his first move as an actor on broadway, on the side of Katherine Hepburn.
He certainly was a good actor and a good man.
You will be sorely missed, Mr Reeve. RIP
He was indeed a Super Man.
