In Reply to: Yes, it had some good reviews... but so did LOTR posted by Victor Khomenko on October 23, 2004 at 05:33:36:
Have some good judgment...Hehe....Of course, but some times, even if that happen very seldom, you find yourself in another world, and you do not know how to enter, so in this case, and only on this case I restrain myself until some other pieces fell together or...not like for Julien & Marie or Marie & Julien...
Well, the second viewing may have solve the question of incertitude you had after the first....That is what I call " fell together "...positive or negative.
My Krell being back since this morning I am on the saddle again.
Yesterday I HAD to watch on a lend DVD player, with my son in law, the worst, stupid, idiotic, badly digitally made film ever( ? ) The day after....I still can not believe it.
Follow Ups:
Yes, I understand, but life is too short for multiple viewings of something that we don't like. I sure as hell don't want to spend another ten minutes with LOTR!Tonight there will be one more Rivette film... don't know which one Anya brought.
Last foreign movie weekend was a disaster... only one passable out of four - I've done better at our local theater!
I didn't even mention Christ Stopped at Eboli by Francesco Rosi - a great, great disappointment.
Well the difference is between something we do not like and / or we do not understand! As in case of Rivette´s Marie...Still not certain. ( in confidence...I do NOT like this film*...)
Tonight.....Brutti, Sporchi E Cattivi...Cannes festival 1976....
I am shaking in my boots now, awaiting your reaction!Don't forget, that is a comedy/drama! I am sure you will get your eyefull with this one... all its two hours!
Yes, and I will start...right now. The story line on the back of the DVD is already like an " amuse gueule ".
