I've heard some good rec's on it, so we went and rented a copy. It turned out to be one of them seventy-fifth generation pirating bullshit, so all we could see was some fuzzy outline of moving figures. Is it really good? Should I spend my hard-earned $10 and get an official viewable copy?
Hi, VictorYeah, you know better since I haven't seen it yet.
From what I've read here, it's a typical Socurov,
a good thing to me. OTOH, the story... after all
Lenin movies I saw I doubt that I'm interested in
another mass murderer private life. And I like
Sokurov not enough to get it only for cinematography.I haven't seen it in rental yet, otherwise I'd spend 15
or 20 'papers' to watch it. Well, so my current answer
to your $10 question is GO FOR IT. Then please tell
me whether it's worth watching. ;-)
regards, gnat
