It is now available on DVD. What reminded me about it was that it was shown tonight on a cable channel. I really would like to know your reacion - I think that is the kind of a movie you will love. I posted on it some time ago here. Available in the US for $18... very well worth it, I think. For some reason it touches me.

Victor, it's really fascinating to read your posts:
"Saving private Ryan" "is simply idiotic. The basic plot and the pukily-sentimental kaka and overcooked kasha spread all over the clean table cloth (borrowing the famous critic's phrase).", and " Dom Durakov" is "serious and deep"????????
Are you really serious writing this BS?. Get a grip, will you!
But I can see your name should be added to the list of those intollerant of other's opinions. You are leaving me dumbfounded... are you saying it is not possible that one movie is bad and another good? Or you are simply trying to be argumentative?
BTW - I saw a part of Dom Durakov again tonight, and was again drawn into it. Too bad my wife wanted to see something else.
Ryan I can't take for over a couple of minutes without wanting to switch.
Yes, a kaka.
Thank you very much Victor. Done.
