This was very cool in 3D IMAX.

The ads might lead you to think (as I did) that this film could have been done as live action. They don't show the virtual "roller coaster" rides and other crazy adventures that could only be done in a computer-generated world -- those things were well suited for 3D.

I don't know if I would have been as excited seeing this on a regular screen, but the 3D IMAX experience kept me involved throughout the entire film.

"HO, HO, HO!" - Santa Claus
