Also Hitchcock ... just about every de Palma film borrows shots from Hitch, even something like Mission Impossible.

Part of the fun (for me) of watching a de Palma film is seeing scenes that make me go, "Oooh, I know I saw that shot in a Hitch movie somewhere."

Blow Out has my favorite use of the famous "De Palma Pan" because it's done in a scene involving reel-to-reel tapes that also spin round and round. (That particular scene uses Hitch's god's eye shot to boot, too!).
