petewThat's OK I find some of those films most rewarding. When I go to
the movies I don't want to be preached to just entertained. Like I
can't stand Adam Sandler "Happy Gilmore" makes me laugh.

You see, I let my disgust for certain trends keep me from enjoying life. I'm afraid I would laugh at parts of "Happy Glimore", so I refuse to watch it. It's so hard trying to be a cultural snob. We get no respect!I have the same problem with RAP. I know I hate it, but it's so hard to keep your body from reacting--a moral struggle in a physical space.

Pete,Send a confidante to the video store for "Happy Gilmore," draw the curtains, and have fun. I have an advanced degree in English literature and try hard to maintain my cultural snob status, but I laughed out loud at this movie. Even cultural snobs have to let their hair down occasionally.
