This documenmtary about the legendary 1970 "Isle of Wight" rock festival is similar to "Woodstock" but has better music. A list of the performers is stunning: Joan Baez. Leonard Cohen, Miles Davis, Donovan, The Doors, Bob Dylan, Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Jimmie Handrix, Jethro Tull, Kris Kristoferson, Joni Mitchel, The Moody Blues, Ten Years After, Tiny Tim, and The Who are just some of the acts. Included are backstage and audience footage and the various logistcal and crowd control problems encountered over the four day event. Mind numbing if you watch the entire thing in one sitting. The passable stereo sound on the DVD can be souped up via Dolby Pro Logic II or DTS Neo 6.
