Thanks for additions Gee LP. I was going to add "The Born Losers"
as I recalled it late. Add "On Any Sunday"-1971, a motorcycling
fun film with Steve McQueen (remember his bike escapade in "The
Great Escape"?)and pop film score by Dominic Frontiere; followed by 1981 sequel with Bruce Penhall. Will have to check out "Rebel Rousers", quite a lineup. Yes, I
recall Barry McGuire, former green beret I believe.Notes: "Motorcycle Gang"-1957 features Carl "Alfalfa" Switzer.
Laslo Kovacs' cinematography in several biker films, most notable
in "Easy Rider". Next time you watch that film, dig the 360 degree
pan of the various and sundry hippy commune inhabitants-visitors
during opening prayer! Putt...putt...putt... ~AH
Follow Ups:
Liked your additions to the list...I stayed within the boundaries of biker gang/chopper films...but I am interested in the earlier motorcycle films...pre-1965. The one with "Alfafa" sounds like a must-see! Thanks for your original post and your follow-up! It was a lot of fun to make my additions to your list.
