  I'ld give the plot a little more than a 3, maybe a 4-5. HK movies in general aren't overly plot driven. I absolutely HATED the ending though.

  Zhang YiMou was better when he was adapting classic works. His two recent films were sell-outs. First he sold out to the authorities (Hero); then he sold out to the juveniles (Dagger).
