This was such a fun movie to watch. The soundtrack was perfect, and Tom Cruise played the part very well. Finally, a film I didn’t get bored while watching. A+
Follow Ups:
Hate to be a downer, but I hated it-almost did a walkout. Screenplay? I'd rather listen to nails scratching on a chalkboard..not a Cruise fan. Will always be, just, a B actor for this movie guy...
First, what are the odds of running thrugh a city's subway station adn not seeing one person, even a conductor? And no cops? What about driving through the city of LA running red lights and no other cars anywhere nearby?
And Fox did not need to jump out and shoot, he could have hidden safely behind the obstacle and stuck the gun aroudn the corner adn fired at Cruise. And done so from about 6 inches off the floor pointing up. Safer for him, deadlier for Cruise. Not as exciting in the movies. I hate movies where the plot relies on the characters being stupid.
Duilawyer, I praised ya. Now I hate cha. You know what I'm talking about ...

Today, with all the hard competition in the music business, it's almost impossible to come up with anything totally original. So we haven't. However, this disc was made with the accent on heavy music.
I find the ending too 'politically' correct..the good guys always wins.
So a regular cabbie foils the plans of a professional assassin, yeah rite. Other than that it was a cool movie, I like Tom in these kind of roles, see also Interview with a Vampire.
This was one of my favorite movies of the year--I think it helps if one has lived in LA because the night-time photography added immensely to the mood of the film.
Cetaele (aka Bob)
1. Los Angeles night shots were awesome.2. Coyote crossing their path (yes it really does happen here all the time) had so many meanings.
3. Korean night club scene super well done.
4. Michael Mann is so comfortable with all the different ethnicities that exist here in LA: white, black, mixed (:)), mexican, asian. ANd then to top it off the city itself is really a central charactor in the film.
