You are lucky that you can get it. Here we can't find it anywhere. Both my wife and I recall being impressed by it, but you are right, with so many years and films in between... so I would be very interested in your reaction. The basic idea behind the plot is not new, when people start opening up under the stressful curcumstances, in this case the Nazi officer playing with them like a cat with a mouse, but as far as I recall it was done well.
Follow Ups:
No I must have it put it wrongly, I meant I would see it if I could, but even in France it is not to get!
So we will have to wait until fortune turn it in our reach.
I know, I know, you are a high tech guy with no VCR... but this might be just the occassion to buy a new one! :-)Hide it in the closet so your guests would not catch you!
Yes but at what price!
AND I have a VHS of course a high tech one with a DV, he-he....

Think of all the trust we are putting in you, Patrick! We would not ask just somebody... we would not ask... ah, nevermind...I think you should buy two copies - one might have a dropout or something... :-) And nothing like a "collectors's" unopened copy on the shelf!
I thought of creating a little fund and this is the address you should send your money order:Monsieur Le Fauve,
Rue des Sauvages Nr. 69Citée Christian-Jaque
Paris XXXBe generous and do not forget it is for the sake of all here on this forum, particulary mine!
PS: To the attention of Monsieur Victor: ( You will, of course get your 10% ) and a free copy of " La Vie Sado- Macho secrete de Mr. Audiophillibus " ( aka " The Man " )
Maybe if we turned enough copies of LOTR into recycling we could get enough money to buy one tape of Dinner for Savages?I know someone who probably has more than one DVD of it!
