Neither my wife or I liked Closer. I don't know what is entertaining about this movie. I do like the Natalie Portman character, but Jude is becoming like Nicholas Cage--over exposure (appearing in too many movies).

I like Clive Owen, but he is rather wooden. Julia is interesting in a non-comedy role. But over all, I didn't like this movie. Four dysfunctional people being dysfunctional to one another. YMMV.

Of course, if your friends liked it, and you are like them, then go for it.
