Beside the fact that my wife did not like it too, I think that it had more " action " than TTSS, the second being more " talkative ".
I would not like to have missed both of them. They belong together.
The last moment in " Smiley�s " were wonderful you could see in Alec playing all his tenderness and homosexuality in his eyes.
He never played better on the silver screen.
