is still very active. Outside of his great voice, there is his penchant for portraying great, evil South African protagonists (given the accent usually employed, Afrikaans protagonists).

As are all of the icons of evil, the Afrikaaner is more than a bit maligned here, but never mind.

I am happy to see that, in spite of his age (77) he still has several projects underweigh (actually the correct form of the word). I loved him in the PBS Sherlock Holmes series in The Copper Beeches and as the evil consul in the Lethal Weapon but his bits in White Mischief and the PBS series The Heat of the Sun were quite something.
