I particularly liked the fact that most people were not painted with black or white colors - they were painted like real people, with doubts, fear, uncertainty, humanity and courage all bundled together. Did you find the guy remind you of Jupp? He-he... in the last scenes, with the baby, especially! The line with pregnancy was not particularly strong, and shows the director still has plenty of room for growth, but overall in interesting work. Bach's aria at the end worked well too.
Follow Ups:
On the overall some of the words and actions have to be considered as a bit naive, or innocent.
Like you said, plenty of room, but anyway it was one of the film that make you more lust and avid to have some more.
It only there would be more of them.
I saw so many films in the last weeks, and believe me, I had not one word left for them, maybe for one of them: Hell´s Angel HH´s masterpiece...If a woman had seen this picture at the time, and still landed in his bed...I would not pity them.
He had such a low view of women, just terrible.
He do not look like Jupp, actually it was Jupp....
