Riesling can be much more than only pleasing. And it may have the deeph this film is sorely lacking, but I understand the fun one can have out of it, if only they did not have make the same story again and again, the idea was excellent but the director weak so the story.
To remember that it was a time were it was more sought after than Bordeaux.
I think that it is getting better and better again.
Alsace have some very fine. And of course the Germanīs too.
I have not forgotten those two excellent German whites which you so graciously sent. I am still waiting to visit Europe and bring yours to you. If I happen to run into any tourists here, I'll see if I can get them to take them.
Oregon Pinot keeps getting more and more acclaim, though a cousin of mine that lives in Lisbon tells me it is extremely rare to see ANY American wines featured in good restaurants' wine lists.
A friend told me just right now " Au bon Climat " may be a very good Pinot? Do you know the wineyard?
The price! The US pinot noir is as costly as the Bourgogne. Oregon a not so hot region is ideal for this grape.
I will order a bottle next week. Can you recommend a good one which I may find here?
