        I did (for my humble little Samsung box) and can't believe how simple it was. I now buy films from whereever I feel like - at a price I like. Try dvd-reviewer.co.uk and see if they can help first. Here's the hack page.

        Thanks a lot for the info! I'll look into that. There have been many times when I wish that I had bought a region-free DVD player, so that I could watch french films, but I guess I didn't realize that I could just have my own player made region-free.
