Did he leave acting? He seemed genuinely intelligent on The Actor's Studio unlike some others like Harvey Keitel.
Follow Ups:
....He "bats" his eyes too damn much, it really is annoying as hell.
He's getting up in into his forties now is'nt he? Instead of romantic leads he'll have to start playing the FATHER of the romantic lead.
He is doing fine, thank you. He finally dumped his idiotic hairstyle, and appeared as a wonderful and interesting (in a perverse way, but still...) person, actually quite attractive, for a change, in "About a Boy", shortly followed by "Love Actually", which was OK.I am somewhat disinclined to watch his latest "Bridget Johnes: The Edge of Reason", for the reason other than him - that Renee babe is just too boring to waste my hard earned bucks on her lame acting.
Both About a Boy and Love Actually I recommend as an inoffensive lighthearted viewing.
Actually I like him very much in what may be his best role ( worse being Maurice ) that is " Notting Hill ".
And a good shot too was " The Englisman who...
And donīt forget the one you did not like " Four Wedding "...
I know he's missing SOMETHING! Woof.
