Newel nice film. A women´s opus better than Thelma and Louise or The Piano, who where a real bore to me.
Set in Italy near the " Cinque Terra " in a beautiful house, with actors you can call so.
Lovely, even not totally politically correct. But is love always?

I like it too.
Not a bit of "cheesiness" that sometimes creeps into "womens films". I've seen it at least twice, and it doesn't lose a whit.
In Vino Veritas
This is a wonderful fiolm and a long time favorite of mine. The fashions are dead on and the film underscores the devestation of the male population that occured during World War I. I think I may dig this out and watch it again so thanks!
A favourite of mine too, I often have a look at it. Do you remember a film, in which two Americans ladies are visiting England maybe Oxford, and one of them fell in love for a professor, who goes in holiday then....
'Goodbye Mr Chips' with Robert Donat?
One of my favourites.
One of mine too. No it is an English film. Merci.
And I love Donat.
