...'cept this rollercoaster only has one hill that keeps going down, and down, and down.....This would be like me making a documentary about a meal I made last week that burned up in the oven and I had to throw it out. Perhaps it's nothing more than a last minute attempt at publicity for this swiss-cheese of a ship, sinking in a vast ocean that's being sailed by much more competent vessels.
Follow Ups:
At the beginning of of March they had 48. And Franken is "clocking" Rush Limbaugh. Article yesterday of its success.
..as far as Rush being 'clocked', EIB is not being subsidized, all money is from anxious advertisers happy to hand over their cash. We'll talk again when Franken makes $2 million a month like the man on top does.

But it's OK, baby, don't cry!
Or else they wouldn't have signed this guy....
Maybe not your cup of tea, but you are wishing on a star, with your hopes of their desperation. They are here to stay, financially stable, and their listenship is growing, despite being solid already.
they grabbed a few listeners who were disgruntled from the election results and needed an outlet to vent. That should taper off and remember, conservative radio is still so far ahead, and growing. And lets not forget Fox news on top and moving full speed ahead(also with the help of all the old time liberal throw-backs jumping ship from the major networks)
Just goes to prove my theory that the proliferance of talk radio is but a further sign of the decline of western civilzation. If they're that desperate, I wish the NPR gabfests could be exiled over there thus returning classical/jazz/cultural programming back to public radio.
Look what they have to resort to. This does not suggest to me a program that is thriving. Filling a time slot with someone who's previous show involves things like the 'black midget Ku Klux Klan'. Have they no shame?
who they hire, needs a little fine tuning. Don't concentrate on what you think it suggests. Look at the numbers. They are dong great, far better than anyone predicted.
a handful of stations had dropped the program
