I thought this looked like it could be really dumb, yet it's pretty easily my favorite of this year so far.
As I've always loved film noir and this is meant to be the noirest of all time, I was with it from the first minute. Basin City is one tough town. The three ultra-tough-guy heroes really are heroes, and man oh man are they tough. Especially Mickey Rourke, my favorite.

I went only to see Jessica Alba.... and the whole film turned out to be great. I have to agree- my favorite movie of this year so far as well.
