He is the founding father of Old Farts Love Scarlett club.I have the provisional junior membership. I am not quite as old as he is, you know... :-)
There is something quite sexy in her usually cool, ho-hum demeanor. The way she delivered that cliche "Did you buy a Porsche?" line in Lost in Translation was unforgettable exactly because she seemed to be speeking from a separate, completely detached world. She is almost an outsider, unrelated to the action on the screen, thinking of something else at the moment, simply pronouncing the words she was told too... but there is that flame underneath...
Follow Ups:
drooling member of the Scarlett club.
Pretty much all her lines are delivered to no one in particular, which means to everyone. She is an original presence which is something, these days. The only actress that is truly unique, non-derivative. And...a bosom! She makes curves "vogue" again. Enough already of the boyish women.
Admit it, her mom (Kristin Scott Thomas) out-sexed her in that one 100:1. Of course Scarlett was just 14 then... but I think she looked pretty childing for her 14.
I particulary love´s Ears " facial " comment......
