I thought it was sly and hilarious. I saw it with a girlfriend in the theater...we laughed out loud in several places. Good performances.
There's a lot of "story" in there. Interior story. Emotional territory covered.
Don't confuse "story" with "plot".

I may be putting words in your mouth here, but I think your suggestion of confusing "plot and story" is a reference to the (subtle) themes running underneath the obvious story? If so, I think I got most of them, thanks.
