This is the seventh James Bond film and the first without Sean Connery. Male model George Lasenby plays Bond, and he and co star Diana Rigg have zero chemistry, most probably because she is an actor and he most decidedly is not. Ignoring all this, however, this 9is a pretty good Bond movie with a thrilling bobsled chase at the end. Telly Savalas plays villian Ernst Stavro Blofeld and he is running a project hish atop a Swiss alp which involves beautiful young women ostensibly there to have their allergies cured by really to hypnotize them and then send them back to their respective countries to alter the world's food supply.
Follow Ups:
For some reason, I just like to watch this one more than many others in the series. The first "sensitive" Bond, and the last..
Methinks the entire Bond series should be re-made to follow the books as "period pieces" in their proper timeframe. Each new episode will have a new Bond and director which will give it a creative flexibility not dependent on one upping the last film's technology, CGI, and stunts. Imagine Ray Winstone as the "working man's" Bond or Jude Law as the "effete" Bond, or even Rupert Everett as the "devilishy ambiguous" Bond. It would be fun.
Maybe you are not aware of the kind of images those words, after your description of those women, have brought to my perversely distorted mind...Thanks, rico! ;^))

Diana Rigg is worth the admission.
But you can see she clearly can't stand Lazenby.
Somehow I like this film. Always did.
