...the current column by the great Duncan Shepard, posted through 8/2, at sdreader.com -- how to get to his article will be obvious. Rarely have I read a clearer explication of an obscure artist's even obscurer intentions.

Duncan appears nearly every week; in San Diego his reception is rather mixed, but that's probably due more to his obscurantism that his lambasting of popular taste. I read him every week.
