I find him a bit different in each role, which means at least to me that he is doing something right. I don't know if it is direction or acting, but there is some consistency there in unique characters.

I have a hard time dealing with Tom's Hanky. He's OK in some comedies, but most of his more serious stuff make him look like he's just pretending to be serious. I haven't liked much of his stuff after Forest Gump.
