And Louisville, and Chicago, and LA and...well, Jap horror fans did have a chance to see it. I can't believe it had no run in NYC area. In any case, the original was atmospheric and creepy but hardly a deathless masterpiece.
Frankly, I'd rather pick my battles. I'm more easily outraged over Disney's non-promotion of Miyazaki for example.
