  C'mon VK, these had a lot going for them. Don't get me wrong, I loved Jaws, and it may be better than some of these, but to imply that Jaws is only work with something to recommend? Nahhhh. IMHO of course.

    What can I say? I know you are not the only one who likes his films - his success speaks for itself.

    BTW - I would not recommend the Jaws to someone simply seeking good films, as I do not rate it highly. I would only suggest it in the context of movie history, as it represents a noticeable step.

        You really can't convince all of the people all of the time -- after all there are people who cannot stand the success of some other people. Spielberg is a master of what he does and it seems any genre he tackles he masters.

          While I do not share Victor almost totally negative review of Spielberg´s work, my main point is being VERY dissapointed about his last years of filming.
          No doubt, he is just now a middle of the way director.
