When I was a kid, my parents took me to see movies like Planet of the Apes and James Bond movies.

I think that scarred me for life.

So I d say, avoid weird sci-fi movies and bizarre spy thrillers. If you'd like your kids to remain celibate later on in life, you could try a whole host of R rated movies. "Boogie Nights" is pretty traumatizing...

But for a balanced diet of adult interest and fun for kids movies,
I'd recommend "The Mask"(okay, half recommend the Mask, weird flick, man...), "Forrest Gump", and

"Frequency".
