The Remake actually followed the original story "who goes there" and was a better film than the original. The Re-make could have been so much better though if they spend more time developing the characters -- which is perhaps where the first film succeeds better.

I would post my list but why Victor just dumps on everybody so I suggest taking all of your opinions and going to www.rottentomatoes.com and posting on their forums -- there are a number of REAL critics and memebers of the online film critics society where not just anyone is accepted. Plus you can avoid people like this on this site.
