I never see you mention rental services. Here we have the Netflix that is becoming quite good, with its HUGE AND GROWING selection of GOOD films, quick and inexpensive, and the Blockbuster is apparently hot on its trail too. Am I right in presuming there are no such services in yoru country? As I mentioned before, just a couple of years ago the Netflix was just a ho-hum mediocre film supplier, but today they have things you would consider so much outside the mainstream it is almost scary.
Follow Ups:
..I get mine free from the local mediateque (library) - bigger choice than anywhere (i.e. stuff you won't find commercially)
Yes you can rent but the choice is meager. Only block busters. I buy.
releases their earnings figures for the last quarter. They have been very good for my portfolio and I have enjoyed their services for nearly 600 movies ....and counting.
Imagine putting a lifetime number on all the movies you've seen no matter the "venue"?

I think we can only do about half that.
I just upgraded from three-at-a-time to four. That's about all I can handle, esp. when I get something good that I think merits re-watching. A friend of mine's on six, I think. I want to try to get through at least 20 a month.
and usually watch 4 a week. Joined in April 2001. Bought a boatload of stock starting at 3.13 a share...sold and bought and sold and bought. I am playing on their dime now.
