Films/DVD Asylum

These two movies are hard to classify. I think Freaks could go either way. I debated putting Tha Man Who Laughs on my list, and ultimately decided that it wasn't a true "horror" movie, althoughiIt's certainly a fine and facinating film.

To me, both films belong to a genre apparently deceased these days: melodrama. You could call them macabre, but I don't think personally I'd call them horror.

But if you want to do so, it's A-OK with me.
