I have to admit that when I watched it last time, I paid much more attention to the history, battle scenes, weapons, troops, organization, battle order, and other things of this nature. To me that was a film not as much about fine elements of art, but almost a documentary, if you will.I think it succeded in that regard. As I recall, the battle scenes are without any parallels in movie history, and quite accurate in their presentation of hystorical facts - all extremely important in my view.
So I am looking forward to getting it - I still recall the effect the battle scenes had on me.

The view from the plane ( or helicopter ) of the battle scene is quite impressive.
