Generally movement away makes the subject less threatening or menacing. Movement toward you makes the sdubject more threatening or menacing.
...as when the camera, from the groom´s position, takes the bride approaching the altar, her face covered with a veil and her hands hiding behind a flower bouquet... Threatening indeed!Regards
