I found this documentary to be both entertaining and somewhat disturbing. My wife and I both left the theatre with a sigh of relief it wasn't us up there on the screen. On the other hand, we were both glad we had the opportunity to see this film.
Any other reactions out there on this movie?
Follow Ups:
I liked it because it purveyed a picture of the side of reality that many are unaware of. It made me happy in that these guys (at least the ones not too cripled) have the opportunity to focus on something besides their disabililty, fellowship with others, and compete with others. I applaud the organizations that sponser and support these activities. The movie at once makes us realize just how fortunate we are, and just how much we should recognize and support those that are severely handicapped.
.
"Where are we going? And what am I doing in this hand basket?"
