She got a reputation for being difficult to work with. I don't know if it was justified, but it seems to have effected her carreer.

That's too bad - I really enjoyed her performance in "The Stepford Wives" and have often wondered what happened to her. I wonder how "difficult" in defined in the context of Hollywood? - Jim

According to the Inernet Movie Data Base she has recently worked on the other side of the camera in makeup (if it's the same one).
I loved Katherine Ross when saw her films in junior high and high school (early to mid 70s), and I have seen some of her later work as well...I was one of only three people in a theatre watching "Wrong is Right"! Reading rico's comment that she was now doing movie makeup, I had to check IMDB's site for her. Happily, it says she is working as an actress on three films in production now.
I'd like to think it's NOT her - I suppose because of her one time star status.
