The Mamet film is called "House of Games". Even though I have seen it and "The Grifters" I stil enjoyed "Criminal" as I indicated in a recent post.

the point of making the movie. I guess, sometimes, entertainment is enough, yet for some reason it just seems like a waste.
In other words, too much talent and effort invested in a dumb story.
