This is a way too long documentary study of the world's most disgusting dirtiest joke and the myriad ways of telling iot. It feature about 100 comedicans, all of whom eiother tell a variant on the joke or comment on the telling of it. After about 45 miinutes, I'd had enough. I didn't even smile once.
Follow Ups:
The joke was only told about 10 times. The comedians commented on the process and how they tell the joke. Highlights for me were: Sarah Silverman's self-discovery take; Kevin Pollak's version as an impression of Christopher Walken; Bob Saget's over the top version; Dana Gould's discussion of the joke (messing up the punchline and the Amish version); Southpark's dissection of the joke; Billy the Mime's version; Eric Mead's card trick/joke; Drew Carrey's discussion of the joke; Gilbert Gottfried's bravado at presenting the joke at a Hefner roast shortly after 9/11 and many more. What I loved was that it was intimate and there was little effort made to censor the comedians. It was a balls out movie not made sanitary for anyone's taste. Either you enjoy this off-the-wall over-the-top joke or you don't. I loved it.
