I thought both had their charms.
Sorry Victor - Sometimes the ultra -thin Ms. Hepburn seems as "feminine" as Sal Mineo or Johnny Depp to me.

In the film you get a wonderful shot at Ms. Hapburn's thighs and legs (she wears shorts in some of them)... and they are anytyhing but skinny. In fact they are wonderfully shaped and full. She was quite slender above the waist, but overal her figure was very feminine... in my view.
Victor -
Although I presently stand by my observation - I admit it's been a while since I've seen "Sabrina".I've put "Sabrina" on the top of my Netlfix queue and I await my pleasurable homework assignment.
Please take no offense. I sometimes "admire" actresses of even less talent and charm then your Ms. Hepburn. My guilty pleasures run the gamut of Liv Tyler to Kirk's Star Trek assistant Scientists (Marianna Hill) !

I just hope you will find even more reasons to be captivated by that great actress and woman.
Ford? Horrible.
I was flipping through the channels, and there was her face! An instant hard stop...As many times as you see her early films, you still can't take your eyes off her face and figure. Years have passed and there have been nobody who even approached that grace.
Such an untimely departure of the Goddess...
And we still keep falling for these silly stories. Just how sillier can it get? No matter, we forgive the obvious story flaws and simply flow with the river of charm and light-hearted fun.
I did not see the 1995 version, and have no desire, frankly. One simply can't imagine replacing the wonderful trio in the original film with anything, anywhere.
I personally find the whole appeal of Bogart to be lost on me....Hepburn and Holden HAD acting talent as witnessed in such films as Picnic and Stalag 17 for Holden and The Children's Hour and My Fair Lady for Hepburn their range was considerable....but Bogie was nothing more than a "personality" and not a very good actor IMHO...Ford was actually good in the remake of Sabrina....it was his counterparts that were not up to the task...I so looked forward to seeing that film when it came out as I like Ford and have always enjoyed Sidney Pollack's films....But sadly, was very disappointed in the outcome....
I was not certain how to interpret your Ahhhhhhhhh as bad or as good.
The remake was terribly bad.Wilder´s comedy is still and always will remain that way. Holden was having a good part too.
Of course Tiffany in her Givenchy real life clothing will never be beaten not even by Beaton gorgeous stylish but so for the show style.
Maybe > I am wrong to compare them...
