    I'd add "Murphy's Romance" to his greatest roles also.

    BTW, Norman, Oklahoma, his hometown (about 50 miles down the road from me) is in the planning stage of a town square memorializing him. Too bad he didn't get great roles earlier in his career. But he was, IMO, one of the best American television actors around.
