humor founded on extreme vulgarity, feces-slinging (pies aren't enough anymore), and sophomoric insults, this film will mystify them.
The fact that the humor is shown actually to mask a very serious underlying story (the post-WWII emotional landscape with its attendant guilt) only adds to the brilliance.

...but then again, there could have been some war-related remarks which simply eluded me. If there was more meaning to the "Don't tell about the Finns" remark, or the roomful of pepper, or Grant's rather cryptic remark as he walks out of the haircut scene, I didn't really catch it.
