ducked out after that long, boring, MTV-like collage of, well, wedding crashes. When it looked like it was going to turn serious, we knew we were in serious trouble: it wasn't even funny when it tried to be. Vaughn sports a REALLY bad rug and he has the bloated face of the alcoholic. Owen's bangs were so cutesy for a forty-ish guy. Sorry, but a superficial movie begs for an in-kind evaluation.
Follow Ups:
Hell, I walked out on Monty Python and the Holy Grail in '75. We all make mistakes. Wayyy too much hype for me then.

....how far into the movie was the "long, boring, MTV-like collage of, well, wedding crashes" ?... I thought the movie was really funny. I do agree that Owen Wilson's surfer 'do should have been clipped about 25 years ago, and that VV does indeed look puffy and needs better rugs. And I could have done w/o the wrap-it-up nicely in the last 15 miuntes, as it was predictable, but neverthesless i found it humorous. If Vaughan's last few roles didn't make him into a one trick pony, this one sure did.
And fwiw I think that Rachel MacAdams (?) looks great with dark hair.
I left too late ! (nt)

I don't agree - but that was funny!
excellent!
I saw it on Friday hoping for a "Zoolander". Instead it was a dull , predictable misogyny fest.
ago, I may have managed a grin for this tripe.
It'll probably make more than "Young Frankenstein."

No offense, but that line works much better with Gene Wilder's inflection.
