I never noticed that rear-projection gaffe, but I will look for it next time. Bernie's score is truly a masterpiece, and turns this film into one long bizarre dream.FYI, there's a big box of Hitchcock being released next month. Details are unclear, but people are hoping Vertigo and Psycho will have new anamorphic transfers (some people are also hoping Vertigo will include the original mono soundtrack, but I like the 5.1).
Keep your eyes peeled for reviews of the quality.

Continuity: As Scotty and Judy (Madeleine) are driving on a two lane road to Mission San Juan Bautista, it is obvious Scotty is driving on the "wrong" side of the road. Reportedly, when this was pointed out to Hitchcock, he replied, "You drive your way; I'll drive mine.
not too long ago and we both enjoyed it. I really want one of those big Jaguars!
