Follow Ups:
Lots of tongue in cheek films, but I'm a little disappointed that The Reanimator doesn't get a gong.
carnage fest of the sequel not even on it.
Don't remember Rean except a lot of my friends would get loaded and watch it, repeatedly.
Damn , what a cool, creepy, hilariously WAYYY over the top movie. Some classic lines,"You mean the movie lied"
"You better watch your mouth if you like this job"
"Like this job?"
With a reanimated corpse sreaming bloody murder in the background.Bert & Ernie.
"BRAINS!!!
The twenty year old TV version of Salem's Lot, with David Soul in a great turn as the vampire hunting lead. Never thought he had it in him. A fine adaptation of one of Stephen Kings better books. Was it James Mason playing the 'Master's" servant? Both "The Master" and "The Servant" expertly played. A palpable sense of dread ran thru this very dark production. No one was immune from the vampire's voracious appetite. One of my highly recommended rarely seen flicks.
I agree that the Shining, as a movie, held no sense of dread whatsoever.
