I had a long talk with Victor about P. Pasolini yesterday night and we had a different approach to his work.
So without willing to go going into details, I wonder what are YOUR views on his films ( not on his writing )?
Follow Ups:
lead actors, which "fought" it out during the filming because there is not a clear protagonist.
Not a great film, certainly, but a fascinating depiction of greed and lust--- and how a "good" man reacts to them.
..Salo, made the most impact on me - a vision of despair and distaste with the modern world, probably the most horrific film I have ever seen.
He was murdered shortly after it was released, I think.
Yes he was.
But that was no analysis of his work....
It was enough for me...
Accatone & The passion...Decameron....
Theorem I saw at the time but it was Salo that marked me, later.
I'm not a great fan of European cinema of the sixties...I know, that might be a sin!
Was Salo.
Theorem was not my favourit either.
