"You want to stop the film, grab [Lucas's] hand and tell him, 'It’s OK, buddy. Starbucks will always be hiring.'”

I am amazed how bad can be bad. After twenty minutes I quit.

The best line in the review was the one which followed it:"Lucas could have cast Pauly Shore for all the good it would have done the film."
That remark not only rings true, but creates an amusing mental image.
OTOH, reviewer Mark A. Perigard missed a golden opportunity with his closing lines: "Did I say it’s over? In one of the features, a producer speculates about Lucas reworking the film in an extended edition in a few years." - "We may never be free from this farce."
That last line, especially, lacks the sarcasm needed to drive home the triteness of Lucas's prequels. A better comment would've been: "It looks like the farce may be with us, forever."
AuPh,I think I read that Lucas is going to do a television series starting in 2007 that covers the story from the conclusion of "Revenge of the Lisp" to the opening scene in Star Wars. Just as long as there are no more Ewok Christmas Specials.
Episode III had a few decent moments...not many, but far more than the first two pieces of shit he released.
Ian Macdirmid was great as Palpatine. The best Star Wars character other than Boba Fett and Darth Maul.
