I bought this movie unseen over the weekend. I must say that is a rather incredible cinema experience regardless of the age of the movie. The movie is over 3 hours long and kept me enthralled for every minute. The subtlety in the composition of frames and the development of character by the actors is sublime. This is an action movie done right. It's a shame that the action films of today only mimick the elements of this film that is over 45 years old.

Yojimbo and Sanjuro are looking *very* enticing at the moment.
