I bought two serial VHS sets. One was "Manhunt in the African Jungle" starring Rod Cameron I think (supposedly the premise for the Indiana Jones movies). The other was "The Rocket Man". I loved both when I was a kid in the 50's. I wanted to have a thatched tree house with a secret two-way radio in the worst way.

The gorilla suit may have been in the Johnny Weismuller "Jungle Jim" flicks too.
