  I'm a Cussler fan and thought McConaghy was well cast as Dirk Pitt..his sidekick Al was good but didn't fit the physical description in the books (build like a NFL nose tackle)

  Are you referring to the new release with Matthew Mc? The first thirty minutes or so set up the premise and introduce the characters for the action which starts in after about 40 minutes. Indiana Jones meets James Bond. Good popcorn flick.

      Let me know if you have any luck, as I would love to revisit it again - Romm was a great director, and even though the film was obviouly a propaganda work, it had plenty in the art department.
